New Forum Rules, The New Forum Rules!

NOTE: THESE RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. ADMINS. HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE RULES IF NECESSARY.

First of all, any member caught breaching any of the following rules will receive a warning through PM. This board operates a 3-stage warning policy. Three strikes and you're out.

Note: Admin. can go directly to suspension or ban depending on severity.

Behavior:
* Respect others. That means no racism, prejudicial remarks, or sexism is allowed. Don't make fun of someone because of their race, gender, religion, name, customs, etc. Every has rights and please respect those rights. Treat people the way you want to be treated. If caught breaking the above rule, you will be punishable by suspension.

* Do not back-seat moderate. This mean don't take matters into your own hands. If someone insults you in any way, do not insult them back. Contact an Admin. or Mod. right away. If you insult them back, you are just as guilty as they are and will be punished.

* Admins. have the final word. Please don't argue with us, debating is fine but there is a reason why we run things the way they are. If you feel there is anything wrong with the way the board is being run, please tell us.

* ABSOLUTELY NO SPAMMING!!! This is very important! I do not want a hundred posts with "hi" written on it. If I catch you spamming, you will receive a warning. This includes PM spams, forum spams, and Cbox spams. DO NOT SPAM. Very simple rule.

Basic:
* This board is rated PG-13. This means no pornographic or excesivly violent material will be allowed. You may imply sexual activity but please keep it at a minimum.

* This is a intermediate level forum. This means all posts should at least be two paragraphs or more than seven lines. Also please make sure to use correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. If you do not understand, please look at other people's posts.

* Please be active. If you are going to join, you must be active. I am not going to force you to post everyday but please be on at least once a week. If you are inactive for two months or more, we will send a email warning. After that, your account will be deleted. If you are going out of town or have a broken computer, please find a way to tell us so we don't delete you.

* Please keep in mind that only in game posts go towards your post total.

* You are allowed two characters at a time. It is recommended that you attempt to try and limit yourself to one character a topic. If you wish to create another character or wish to delete an older character contact an Admin or Mod and we will delete it for you.

* Avatars should be at 100 x 100 pixels and signatures should be no more than 500 x 200 pixels. Please resize if yours is too big/small.
* Make sure to read all the rules before you role-play.

In Game Rules:
* Every member on this site has a character they will be using. Use the character template to work on your character. Please keep your character original and unique. Don't go around copying other people's characters. If you do not want to create a character, you can adopt a pre-made character.

* There is no god-modding or power-playing here. You cannot control any characters but your own. No character will be all-powerful. You may not dodge or block every attack that is thrown at you. All characters MUST have weaknesses. No exceptions.

* Your character only knows what he or she has learned. If you read something on another topic that character was not a part of. They do not know it.

* Make sure you use the correct template when making your character. If you do not know, ask!!

* There will be some topics that are tagged. That means only the topic-starter and the person that is tagged can post. For example: "Tagged: Jakrah", that means
that only the topic-starter and Jakrah may post. Tagged topics should be left alone.

* Please no double-posting. There is a reason why the "EDIT" button is there.
Please use it. Double posts will be counted as spamming and you will be punished. It is understood that occasionally something may happen causing your post to be posted multiple times. If that is so, please just delete all of them except for one. If you are unable to do so, contact an Admin. or a Mod.

* Please be courteous and respectful to other members. People have lives and they cannot be on this forum 24/7. Please be patient and wait for a response to your topic.

OOC Rules:
* Again be respectful. Don't start a fight and don't join one.
* Remember, PG-13. Keep profanity low and absolutely no links that contains sex or porn.
* I cannot stress how important that NO SPAMMING is. Spam and die.
* Know the difference between a character and his/her RPer. Please remember that a member and his/her character is completely different.
