| Name Ladon
Age 9 months old (looks about 10-11 years old and after 12 months, she'll look to be in her 20s as dragons grow and mature much more quickly than humans.)
Affiliation Alondia
Description < - > Image Coming Soon < - > Ladon is a dragon that can assume both human and dragon forms. Her human form is seen more often as it's been inbred in dragons since before their hatching to hide their appearance as a survival instinct. As a human, she has very choppy silver hair that falls a little below her shoulders. Although people tie it back in a low ponytail for her, because of her hair's natural layers, most of it eventually falls out of the ribbon. Two small, curled horns protrude from her head. Her eyes are bronze in color and very large as she's still young. The shape is slanted showing an almost eerie wisdom inside them. If you could describe her appearance in one word, it would be disheveled. She's still not accustomed to human clothing. She wears it loosely or sloppily, and it often slips off her figure, leaving any in her company flustered to get her clothing back on her. Her appearance won't change much as she swaps between genders, at least not until she gets older.
As a dragon, she's a small silvery-white colored dragon of the European descent. As she grows larger, her horns will as well though right now they're still small and slightly green. Ladon becomes a dragon when in combat or when around people she feels safe and secure with. In other words, she has full control over her transformation.
Weapons/Abilities Dragons are born naturally wise as they inherit their parents' wisdom, so Ladon knows quite a lot about the world, but she's pretty clueless about taking care of herself. As a dragon she can throw herself about in a battle and being a silver dragon, she can spurt blue flames from her mouth, however, because she's so young, she can't use this properly or control her flames. Until she has more control, using her fire as a combat ability is rather pointless. Her size makes up for this as she can pin down people or do some damage with her claws. Dragons are forbidden in taking lives outside of meals so she could never win in a battle where it is deemed to the death. Because there are no elder dragons around to teach her, Ladon is a very clumsy flyer and is better running long distances than flying them. Ladon isn't a fighter and as such, she's not good at much when it comes to battle, long range attacks can be most fatal to her as she hasn't been trained to keep a high awareness on the battlefield. She leaves many openings and if people are brave enough to approach her, she could more than likely be easily attacked at close range as well.
Personality Aloof and carefree, Ladon walks to the beat of her own drum, like most dragons do. She's a lot more playful and tender-hearted than most dragons and she gets attached to things and people very easily. Once she latches onto something, she doesn't want to leave it alone. Even though playful, she can act very mischievous. Her personality remains the same no matter which gender she's assuming at the time.
Background A special female hatchling from a nest of 3 eggs, Ladon was born from Sola (mother) of Amina and Mio (father) of Sol, green and bronze dragons who flew to Alondia to raise their nest as most dragons do, the harsh desserts a perfect place to raise up young hatchlings. Unfortunately, Ladon's egg became separated from the nest and was found by a small village who maintained a shrine to the goddess Gwendalin. When she was hatched, the people were surprised to see a human come forth from the egg and many deemed her a gift from the maiden goddess. After two months, Ladon quickly learned how to speak and how to survive in the harshness of the sandy country and even discovered with the rest of the villagers her true identity of a dragon. In the third month, Ladon's true "specialness" shown through when she awoke to find herself a himself. This change didn't leave Ladon as surprised as his discovery that he was a dragon. In his inborn wisdom of dragon knowledge, it was traditional of silver dragons, male or female, to change it's gender on the 3rd month of being one gender. After 4 more months, Ladon attempted practicing her flying. One day, a strong dessert storm picked up and carried her far off from her village. She's been wandering ever since to return back to the village, but she's also been distracted by the many things she's begun to encounter on her two months of journeying.
Additional Notes about Ladon's Gender Swapping If Ladon finds a "precious person" that she loves unconditional and decides to make her life partner or once she reaches the age of 50, she will have full control over choosing her gender. Meaning she'll be able to change it at will, but until then, she's stuck on the 3-month-cycle. Compare it to a woman having her period until she reaches menopause.

| Got it! And just so you don't have to go searching for it, I'll include it here and in the character sheet:
Ladon isn't a fighter and as such, she's not good at much when it comes to battle, long range attacks can be most fatal to her as she hasn't been trained to keep a high awareness on the battlefield. She leaves many openings and if people are brave enough to approach her, she could more than likely be easily attacked at close range as well.
Will this work? My character in general isn't really a fighter which is her overall weakness. Aside from that, she's still a young dragon and with no interaction with other dragons she doesn't know how to use herself to her fullest potential. | |
