Description- Kagami is approximately 5’7”-5’8” with a slender body. She is often thought of as beautiful. She has warm amber-golden eyes with an orange tint. She has long flowing hair that reaches down to about her elbows. Her hair is a deep light-brown color. She wears two special hairclips to keep her hair out of her face and eyes. The two hairclips have a unique design and were made by her brother they are a clear crystal-blue color, shaped like wings and have the word Hyourinmaru inscribed on each of them. She also has a third hiar clip that wasn’t made by her brother the are golden and shaped like an X that she sometimes uses to tie up her hair. She always wears a gold bracelet that was made by her brother. The bracelet however can transform into a set of bracers for her forearms and hands and a long spear used to channel her abilities. Sometimes she has a no-dachi slung on her back. She also carries a hidden assortment of throwing knives. She normally wears a kimono that is shortened up to the knees and does not have the excess tapering of the sleeves. Under her kimono she wears a snug-fitting outfit kind of like a ninja. She appears 21 while her brother appears 26 even though she is actually 12 years younger because people in her race stop aging at different times.
Her many “modes” have slightly different appearances the above was a description fo her “normal” mode.
Hyper Mode: She is always seen smiling and here eyes have a bright yellow-orange tint to them.
Phoenix mode: (doesn’t actually become one, name given because of the winglike flames) She has wing-like structures on her back made of flames. She can’t fly with them and the wings appear very faint to invisible. Her expression becomes blank, calm and cool. Her eyes become a deep crystalline red-orange. (Think of Tsuna after the rebuke bullet only with more golden color in the eyes)
Weapons/Abilities- She is also a master at the ways of the sword as she was trained by her brother Kisuke. She learned by herself how to uses knives and spears/lances/polearm.
She can control fire and lightning and sues it to some extent depending on what mode she’s in. She also has super-awareness; she can notice even miniscule changes in her surroundings. She can only be in hyper and phoenix mode for a limited amout of time, after she exits either mode she becomes exhausted, her movements slow down, and her awareness decreases. Sometimes she will even be unconscious depending on the strain that was placed on her body, because her limits are removed.
Normal mode: can use every skill and ability she knows
Hyper mode: She can now move very fast almost looks like teleporting. She has random, spontaneous, and erratic movements. This makes it hard for her opponents to hit her or predict her movements. Doesn’t really use offense. Doesn’t become exhausted.
Phoenix mode: Her mind begins process data extremely rapidly. Her abilities are augmented. Doesn’t become tired, but puts immense stress on her mind because of processing capabilities.
Personality- Kagami’s personality mostly depends on what mode she’s currently in. She is very kindhearted and respectful. She upholds the same values as her brother as she was thought by him. She’s very curious and constantly asks her brother questions. She loves her brother more than anything in the world as from a young age he was all she had.
Normal mode: She’s just a regular girl.
Hyper mode: She becomes very bubbly and very happy. She talks fast and normally does not finish a sentence and chains it to another sometimes having very long run-ons. When she is in this mode she probably causes over 98% of her brother’s annoyance of her. She becomes unaware of what’s she saying and will sometimes say the wrong things at the wrong time or say something offensive.
Phoenix mode: She becomes calm, cool, collected and calculating. She will calculate every move she will make and speaks monotonously and sometimes like a computer such as wind speed she would say, “Wind speed… point zero two kilometers per second…”
Background- She grew up with her brother in nobility but was too young to realize what that meant. She would often follow her brother when he snuck out of the castle and he went almost anywhere he would go. She never really knew her father except from what her mother and brother had told her. When she was not with Kisuke she would always be around her mother. When she was six she left the castle with Kisuke to travel with him, she didn’t really want to leave her mother but she was unaware that she was already dead and she wanted to follow Kisuke. She traveled with her brother for 5 years and he had left her with her “Aunt” (She was actually a friend of the family) in the town of Zeinaeron. During those 5 years she had discovered her ability to control fire when she accidentally set a small forest on fire. She also was taught how to wield a sword by her brother and how to control her abilities. But unlike her brother she is not able to transform yet. Before her brother had left her he gave her a set of hairclips and a gold bracelet, which her aunt taught her how to use when she was 16. After she became sixteen she was often the center of attention because of her beauty and often boys hitting on her. She also noticed mood swings which marked the dawn of her two modes phoenix and hyper. She named it those because of her actions and appearance. She left Zeinaeron after she became eighteen to travel the world and to find her brother, but before she left she was told the truth about her mother's death and her race. She was told to go to the Great Library in Xyneires. When she reached the great library she had asked the towns folk if they had seen her brother. The towns people had said based on her descriptions that her brother was indeed at Xyneires, but over 30 years ago. She also constantly trained to control her abilities. She can now control both modes but only for a brief amount of time, her longest time maintaining her modes was 1 hour which would decrease depend on the amount of stress she was under. Her phoenix mode can be triggered by will but her hyper mode is often triggered by extreme excitement or happiness. she is also trying to develop a way to combine both modes to have the benefits of both.
