Description- Kyoya is about 5’11” Which places him about 1 inch shorter than his brother. Kyoya has a vivid murky blue left eye. His right eye is a bright emerald green with a unique pattern around the pupil. His Right eye is normally covered with an eye patch he designed himself to reduce the strain of his right eye. He has smooth silver-black hair that always covers his right eye. He always carries a black backpack that for some reason has limitless amount of space within. He wears a black dress shirt with a bright red tie most of the time. He wears snug fitting black pants and a pair of combat boots that has metal plates on the underside and within the toes of the boot. He occasionally wears formal attire. The handles of two handguns can always be seen sticking from his waist despite of the black cloak he has draped over himself. He also wears a lot of red clothing hence part of his nickname.
Weapons/Abilities- Kyoya is extremely proficient with ranged weapons and projectiles as he is an experienced sniper. His right eye allows him to make precision shots theat are meant to kill, with the ability of his eye he can even something as small as a bug crawling on a tree some 50 miles away. He is able to defend himself in hand to hand combat but is not that skilled. His most prominent weapon is a sniper rifle he carries. The rifle was said to be from a different world and he modified it to fit his abilities. He is adept in using stealth tactics to hide his presence from others. He can also use any projectile as a weapon such as rocks, knives and others. All of his guns can fire a variety of different rounds. Because he always wears an eye patch his perception is reduced so he can miss shots and his right eye is constantly straining him and can render him unconscious if it strains enough. The more he uses the eye the more strain he gets.
Personality- Kyoya is a very outgoing and playful person but he can be serious when needed. He is very humorous and likes to make jokes often in any situation regardless if it offends people or not. He has a habit of hitting on girls by calling them nee-chan. This method normally has a 30% chance of actually working. He is constantly jealous of his brother’s success with women and always asks him how he does it. He also has a habit when killing someone face to face by having a wide devilish grin that gained him part of his title. His joking personality is an asset he will often use to annoy and distract his opponent. He likes to kill but, will only kill when a valid reason is present. He takes his time when killing someone, by playing around and mentally torturing his targets.
Background- Kyoya and his fraternal twin bother Setsuna grew up together in nobility and a lavish lifestyle, In the formerly large city but now ruins known as Terona. It was located on neutral lands between Sol and Ragalia. The Shinjiro family “ruled” over Terona. His family was respected by everyone as they always treated everyone politely. Though his family was rich they know that everything has value and is not to be taken lightly. He and his brother would always go into the city and surrounding areas to explore and meet people. When he was sixteen he inherited his family’s fortune and responsibilities along with his brother as their father had passed on from a severe case of tuberculosis. He and his brother watched over Terona with great dignity and respect. The city-folk adored him and his brother and claimed they were the best leaders they’ve ever had. At age seventeen he had become a skilled fighter and the respect of many opponents. Kyoya was always jealous of his brother’s success with women and wished he could be like him.
One day he and his brother explored the nearby lands and came across some ruins that were believed to belong to a civilization that was present from a time before Solace had separated into the 4 continents. Within the heart of the ruins He and his brother came across a chamber that had two pedestals each with an odd stone on top. One had a blue stone and the other had a red one. Kyoya placed his hand on the red stone and his brother touched the other. The chamber lit up and was bathed in blue and red light and both Kyoya and his brother were knocked out. When he woke up he screamed upon noticing he was blind in his right eye and a sharp burning pain flooded this eye. Then an unknown voice echoed in the chamber, “Thou now possesses the Hunter’s eye, ye vison shall never die.” Kyoya was perplexed upon hearing the voice as images of the past flickered in his right eye and he discovered that he was part of a cult of marksmen. Kyoya was again fell unconscious as he was found by his brother who told him that his right eye was glowing green. HE soon noticed that his eyesight began returning but was more clear and vivid.
For several years Kyoya praticed guns and other projectiles and realized that he was extremely accurate and precise. Kyoya. Soon Ragalia decided to expand their territories and they invaded Terona. Kyoya assisted his brother and fought off most of the Ragalians until emperor Rufus Ragalia came to the front lines and single handedly defeated him and his brother. There he and his brother lay nearly dead as Rufus gave them a proposal, “You two join me and I will spare this town’s inhabitants.” Kyoya blatanly refused the proposal but went along with his brother to save the city. Kyoya was outraged when Rufus ordered to imprison the cityfolk and to raze the city. Several days later He and his brother became the two man assassination team under Rufus’s command in order to keep the prisoners alive. For several years he and his brother worked under Rufus and received their titles “Black Ace” and “Red Joker”. Kyoya’s title was a result of the red he wore and his personality. For several yeas Kyoya worked under Rufus actually enjoying his job of being an assassin. He soon heard news of his brother’s arrest and started to keep track on him and Rufus. He suddenly lost track of the two and regained information when he saw the royal guards leave the palace carrying his unconscious brother and the corpse of his sister-in-law. He was devastated at the sight and followed the guards carrying the dead body to a burial ground. He discovered that they were going to burn her body, and he killed the guards and escaped with his sister-in-law’s body. He was outraged by Rufus’s actions and started assassinating the royal guard and a handful of Rufus’s prized servants. When Rufus discovered he was behind the killings he issued an order to locate and arrest Kyoya. Kyoya hid in the shadows of Ragalia while escaping to the neutral city of Altomare to bury his sister-in-law’s body. He soon met up again with his brother and told him where her body was buried. His brother was glad to here this news and he fled Ragalia. To this day Kyoya travels from place to palce avoiding Ragalian hunters and other people after the bounty on him. He is wanted throughout Ragalia and some neutral territories and his bounty is approximately 10,000 gold pieces.
