The rain.... I like the rain.

Kisuke heard and explosion behind him and he turned around to see that the ice wall started cracking. He then heard Mai's shouts coming from the other side of the wall, the ice then cracked more making a gash in the wall big enough for people to peer inside. His tired gaze then met Mai's eyes and he said while breathing heavily, "You want to fight him go ahead, I probably won't last that much more anyways. I'm just seeing if he has a time limit on this rage if he does I'm just running that clock."

Rai had watched everything that had happened in amazement.
"Whys the new guy just standing there?", he thought to himself.
He then glanced at Miu. He quickly did a dash jump towards Miu, throwing explosive kunais in mid-air which surrounded her. They detonated as soon as they hit the ground around Miu. He landed in a defensive stance with his sword out and said, "Did ya miss me cuz I'm still not done with you!"

Miu screeched when the mines came falling down and exploded. She blew the smoke away and glared at Rai. "I would have missed you if a giant beast hadn't attacked me! Oh wait1 no I wouldn't!" She Dashed toward him. She jumped up and chopped down trying to impale him threw the chest.

"I know im going to regret this..."

Joshua rushed forward into a chaotic battle of which he could not tell who was fighting what.
"Woah!" Even though he wanted everything to freeze and resolve in a peaceful manner, he knew he could not do such a feat.

The first thing he noticed was a large somewhat humanoid creature behind a cracking wall of ice, seeming to be out of control. "Alright, that sounds like a logical situation to start with."

He rushed out and placed himself in front of the beast. "I pray to you, great Goddesses Leas and Gaia, help me."

He holds out his staff, the orb glowing intensely, yet sending out a soothing aura.

Oh one of great discord,
Quell thy storm of thy mind,
By mercy of the great lords,
Leave his wrath behind...

"I don't know effective this spell is here," he thinks aloud, keeping his concentration up. "I hope it works, or I'll probably be doomed to get hurt really badly."

(OOC: SORRY LAME RHYME D: )

Rai's sword clashed with Miu's sword.
"I'll never forgive you for attacking Mai!" he said coolly as his eyes turned blue.
He jumped back and positioned himself in a fighting stance. He wondered if Mai would jump in to make it a 2 vs. 1 match again like it originally was.
"Yo Mai, you still up for a battle with Miu or should I take care of her myself?"

Miu used the momentum from the swords clashing to push up and back to land a little away from him. Her leg seemed to have got slightly bruised when she fell off the golem because when she landed there was some pain in her leg. When she looked up she saw tht Rai had started to ignore her to talk to Mai. In anger of being ignored she ran forward glaring intently at Rai. "Don't you dare turn your back on my you conceited bastard!" She shouted as she took his turned back as an oppertunity to attack. She attempted to impale him once more threw the chest.

Mai had stopped to see the man that was behind her dash off, only to hear Rai's call.
"im busy Rai! and Miu, i dont want you to kill Rai...but your my opponent...remember that!"
With the last words, she ran towards the other man, though where Xander was caught her attention first, as she glanced to see Arrai and Raven who was nearly torn to shreds.
Dammit...as much as i want to help, where the hell did all three of those men go!?
"Leave his wrath behind..."
Mai stopped once more, only to see a cracked block of ice, and the other man standing infront of it, his staff glowing.
"What are you doing?!" her eyes flared with her words, she wasnt sure on what was going on, on even how to stop the rampaging beast trapped in cracked ice, but she was enraged, enraged at anyone who could have made the situation worse.
"Are you trying to stop him?" Mai asked firmly, though she had no plan of breaking the man's concentration in the case he was "He cant control himself, i assume."
Something in me wants to kill the trapped man. something in me wants to stop his rampage before anything else. And something in me wants to keep him alive. i hate all three of these choices! why isnt run one of them?! oh yeah, because i said so earlier when i shot the ice in the first place!
Sighing, she pointed both of her guns at the man her left shoulder throbing with pain"But if your trying to kill him, im going to have to stop you, or something along those lines."

(ooc: sorry its long...and probably bad ._. im having weird "lets ask really bad questions" writers block.)

Kisuke saw someone enter and saw him raise his staff and heard him say an incantation. He then said, "Ah, I'm glad someone is willing to help me stop him. So good to see knwo that you are willing to resolve this peacefully. By the way my name is Kisuke."

"Thats nice to know," Joshua said, trying to keep his concentration up. "But I dont think now is is the time for introductions."
And then there was the girl loudly screaming in his ear, pointing her guns at his head. Angered by the thought of someone thinking that he would be doing something of malicious intention, he shouted, "Look, if you want to stop me be my guest, but I'm only trying to help by calming this thing down. I don't know about you, but if I stop, I will surely die, do you understand?!"
Focusing back on his spell, his anger slowly ebbed away, only to be replaced by determination for this to work.

Miu's attempt failed as Rai's water clone turned into a puddle after it got sliced through the chest by Miu's sword. "Everything is not what it seems Miu!" Rai announced as more water clones rose from the puddles the rain created.
"Let's see if you can find the real me!" Rai quickly formed hand signs. "Water style: vapor fog jutsu!" A misty fog surrounded Miu and Rai's water clones, hoping it would be more difficult for Miu to find Rai.

NOTE: Whoa....a lot happened. I'm sorry I haven't been on. I was really sick this weekend and couldn't lift my head off of a pillow. I couldn't even look at computer screens. So I'm back and hopefully I wont miss much! ^___^

Arrai's eyes widened as the blade pierced through his chest. "Well that wasn't supposed to happen." He sighed before a large cough of blood spurted out of his mouth. "Can't say I'm surprised though..." He began to fall forward and he could see everything moving so slowly. On his descent he saw the damaged Raven crawl away to rest against a tree. He saw the newcomer look at him and he saw Larien being dragged away. He saw the pretty little Mai's eyes filled with concern and immediately wanted to tell her a joke to make her stop worrying. He saw Miu flying here and there as she was attacked by a ninja. And he saw Xander shrink the giant golem as he rushed towards Arrai. 'Why was he coming over here? Oh that's right.'

Arrai's body crashed to the floor. He felt the blood trickle from his mouth and he used his hand to grab his newly opened wound. He'd had wounds like this, but Raven had pierced through his heart. What a strange feeling that is, to have your heart pierced. To feel the muscle attempt to pump blood even though it is being pierced. To feel the life giving blood soak around the blade and surrounding organs. To feel your lungs become damp and taste the metallic liquid in your mouth. It felt bizarre. Perhaps it was his blood loss, but Arrai couldn't feel the pain. He saw Xander hovering over him, but he turned his head. 'Shit. This wasn't supposed to happen.'

Arrai extended his hand towards the frightened beast that had once been Larien. "Stop him. Don't-" More blood forced it's way out of his throat and into his mouth. "-cough- dammit, don't touch him!" Arrai yelled as Kisuke separated Larien from the group. "Lala has to be helped.....he has to....-cough, cough-" More blood. He saw Mai rush towards Kisuke and the stranger begin to chant. "Stop. Don't....touch him." Arrai wanted so much to face that creature before him. To stand before it's awesome might. To feel it's jaws sink into his flesh and to feel his sword run through it's body. The creature excited the fighter in him. But inside, he knew that Larien was there. Afraid. Just like the small child he had found so many years ago.

He could feel Xander's intent to help. And he knew Mai would never let Larien be killed. If she did, he would most likely settle with tearing everyone limb from limb. -cough!- "Yeah right.' His body told him. 'Like you could kill anyone in this state, moron.'

"Hurry up, doc. I think this one is serious." He felt so helpless at the moment. Why wouldn't his body just heal! Like it usually did? He turned to look at Raven. He hoped the smug pixie was smirking, because if he wasn't Arrai felt like he'd just about rip the face off of him. "Doc, I need your help. I need to get closer to Lala. In the state he's in, he'll only injure himself and end up dead. I need you to get me over there and then put some of that healing magic to his mind." A hard feat to touch a ferral's head. They don't just let people touch them. "I know how to get him calm. Trust me."

"I've only done this a hundred times before." He said to himself.

NOTE: AND WOW. That was a long post. Sorry for making it so long, just wanted to catch up with everyone! You have all been so awesome! I'm so proud to be rping with all of you! Mwahahaha! First post on the tenth page! W00t! You all are awesome!

NOTE: Log post again. I apologize. Sorry, wanted to catch up and put in my two cents. A bit of back story. Hey, who thinks it sounds a bit like Mewtwo or something out of an RE game? Meh, I couldn't help it.

The beast in Larien told him to struggle to fight, to rip and tear. It so desperately wanted to crush a small form in it's jaws. Larien had almost fully transformed. He now looked extremely beast like in nature, giant claws on all fours prowling, and beast like eyes glowing furiously. He no longer had any control over what he could do. He couldn't even stay conscious. Larien simply faded away, the beast fully awoken. The beast howled and gnashed it's teeth at the one called Kisuke. Whatever the thing was doing it upset the beast more. It wanted to rip apart the tinier creature, slowly and yet in a deadly speed. The creature however was so blind sighted that it couldn't even understand when it had been caught. The beast was a powerful stupid creature. Incapable of a thought process or sense of self preservation. The ultimate weapon. Created for the war.

The creature tried tearing at the ice struggling free. For an instance it's shaggy fur covered body had been stalled momentarily in the ice. Feeling a sense of involuntary constraint. The creature wanted to howl to destroy. It could see vaguely through the ice another humanoid creature shooting at the frozen glass. Enemy. It thought.

A flash of memory jolted the creature's deeper mind.

"Subject number 969 has awoken." From a glass tube of embryonic fluids Larien slowly opened his eyes. He was naked like he always was in this place His small and fragile body hooked up to tubes that kept him barely alive. He was after all a creature nothing more. He did not yet understand the languages of man, and had never stepped foot outside of this lab. "Transfusion has been a success." The lab assistant's voice sounded muffled from behind the glass. But he could still hear. A mask over Larien's face kept him from looking too far around, and provided oxygen.

"Good. Go ahead with the awakening of the f-genes." Obviously the authoritative voice was a leader or alpha male. Larien could barely make out the form. But the alpha had pressed it's strange paw against the glass. Larien extended his own, only to discover they looked identical. Not like claws at all. He could feel through the glass. But didn't like what his body was feeling now. More flashes. Suddenly the glass had broke. There was screaming an blood. He was so scared. He just killed and ran.

The ice surrounding Larien suddenly shattered, due to the help of Mai's minethrower. The beast now free attacked. 'LEAVE ME ALONE!' Larien's mind screamed. He didn't want them to hurt him anymore. He didn't want the pain.

Miu glared at the spot that Rai had been just before. "What the-" She looked around trying to fine Rai but could not. Suddenly he spoke and several look a likes appeared from the puddles surrounding her. "How did you multiply! and what do you mean by 'Real me?!'" Right when she was about to attack one of the clones she stopped fog from Rai's jutsu swirling around her. She slowly took in air threw her nose and let it go threw her mouth. She continued the breathing exercise as she slowly moved up onto one foot switching her sword to her left hand and holding it so the sword aliened with her arm. Her eyes shot open and she started to spin slowly at first then it became rapid the water on the ground and the mist in the air started to swirl around her as she spun. She used the momentum of her spin to jump and attack each and every figure that she thought was Rai in a single minute. All her movements were graceful and precise.

"Damn..!"
Mai immediatly lowered both guns and pushed the larger man next to her out of the way, only for her shoulder throb in pain, leaving no chance to dodge herself.
Fangs sunk into her left arm, claws holding it in place as the flesh began to bleed a deep red, the minethrower falling out of her hand.
Ha..Maybe i should have just gone for the blond first...breaking that was a bad idea..though, i did say if he wanted to kill someone it would be me./i]
Her eyes moved towards the priest, pushed downwards from Mai's impact.
"Sorry..."
Her voice shook with sadness, and even a small bit of anger, before she looked once more at the monster tearing at her arm.
"Lala...y-your...going to be alright...so..sorry!" with the last words she kicked the beast, teeth and claws tearing out from her arm, blood dripping.
"good thing...that..im used to being bitten." Mai's arm was limp, and she stood, waiting for a counterattack of any kind.
though, she wanted to move, to run to Arrai. [i]Like i should have before...he would know...
other than that...just looking at the beast made her think of those...man made creatures, not even fit to be called dead.
"Someone get the blond dear over here!" She shouted, to anyone's ear, the minethrower that fell out of her left hand stayed on the ground, and the Handgun in her right pointed towards the beast.



(OOC: wonderous to have you back, i love the way you came in! sorry i hope i didnt god mod at all o.o;; if i did, please correct me
Note: actually, i kinda think of nemisis from RE >_> though i havent played 3 just yet. pfft, thats what Mai's thinking of, resident evil, the man made zombies near the end of the 2nd one. >_>

NOTE: Nope, no god modding. You're good. When Larien is in that state he's a somewhat npc that can be controlled. That's why I always say he lashes out or strikes or claws at something instead of specifically saying he hurt someone. In that state he doesn't know what he's doing, therefore anyone can be hurt. I felt like I was kind of god modding. Sorry all. >.< I'll try to reduce it from now on. I was thinking of the end of the second RE movie when I wrote the one above. Oh, yeah, and Mewtwo. LOL.

The beast was winded from the kick Mai had delivered and whined in pain. It recovered quickly however and began to circle Kisuke and Mai in a predatory stance. It wanted to kill them. Destroy. Kill. Was all that it could think. It's vision was a blood red and it thirsted to strike out and eat away at these different creatures. If he didn't hurt them, they would hurt him. Attack. Larien lunged at Mai and Kisuke fangs barred.

NOTE: Looks wise Larien looks a bit like Gill from Dragon Knights. I'm sure non of you have read this wonderful manga before but here's visual imagery for you: LOOKING FOR IMAGE WILL POST AT LATER DATE

Mai used her right arm for balance as she flipped out of the way, Larien running in circles kept her from going back to Xander and Arrai.
"Glasses!" She shouted to the side, hoping the man she pushed out of the way earlier could still hear her as she pointed in the direction from earlier "you want me to shout?! GET THE BLOND GUY FROM OVER THERE PLEASE."

(note: Lol thats for the "shouting in his ear" comment go Josh goooo~! lol "please." )

Raven stood (barely) against the tree, feeling uncharacteristicly useless. Never had he been enclosed by fighting and had not taken part in it. The whole exprience left a bitter taste in his mouth, counterbalancing the strong coppery taste of blood. His eye lids felt as two lead bricks, and he wanted nothing but to close them and sleep, but experience and enstinct urged him to fight for his consciousness.
He could see everyone quite clearly from his support. He soaked in the chaos that surronded him, eyes glancing from one fighter to another, everyone sported some kind of injury, and the scent of blood domintaed the air. His eyes continued to wander untill they landed on Arrai's layed out form. Xander crouched next to him in an effort to help him. Raven continued to stare at Arrai his mind becoming increasingly perplexed. An emotion Raven had yet to see throughout there entire match radiated from his mitch matched eyes. Compassion. It was small and hidden behind a dominant will to continue fighting, yet it remained. What could drive a man like him, a man who seemed to thrive on killing and pain, to show any sort of human compassion. Raven began to slip in and out of consciousness. It was at that point Raven acquired a new understanding and respect for Arrai. He wasn't just a mindless killing engine. Maybe it was just as [i]she[i/] had said, 'no matter how dark the soul, there is a glimmer of love waiting to be unearthed.' Had Raven had the strength he would have smiled. Arrai wasn't actually much different than he wa-... It was the last thought that echoed through his mind, as the exhaustion and blood loss finnaly took its toll on Raven. His eyes closed and darkness smothered his thoughts, as he collapsed on the ground, allowing his beloved rain to cover him in its numbing embrace.

(OOC-good to have you back , and Arrai and Lala, I really just could have said Raven collapsed, but eh...I liked this more. btw pretty epic posts, nice job.)

(OOC: Ah... I'll do the best I can. I'm in a pretty... down mood at the moment.)

Getting up from where he was pushed down, he covered his mouth from the overdose of the foul scent of blood in the air. "No! Grr... so many people getting hurt..."
Joshua held up his staff, itself glowing harshly. "Angel Halos!"
Glowing golden rings appeared around the creatures neck, ankles, and wrists, with chains of the same magic tying it down to the ground.
"That's not going to last very long. I pray that I'll get just enough time. I'd better hurry."

He ran over to the blonde haired man, who was barely conscious. Scanning his body quickly with his staff, Joshua quickly placed his hands over the most injured parts of his body and a glowing warm aura came out, seeping into the stranger's body. Tons of internal and external damage...

"Don't worry you'll be fine!" He yelled at him, hoping that will keep him from the brink of death.

(We're very happy to have Arrai and Larien back again :) I hope its ok for me to do this to Lala)

Xander did not know exactly what to do, he placed clamps on the arteries, placed pressure on the wound, wiped away some of the blood, and was trying to wrap up the wound. Don't die. Don't Die. DON'T DIE.
"I'm sorry, but if I move you, then you will die." Xander's arms were covered in blood by then. His injury is way to bad I have to do something better.
Xander pushed up his goggles onto his forehead so that he could see every thing more clearly including Arrai's energy. He saw the wound and the damaged heart that was still desperately trying to beat, but just causing Arrai to bleed out. Xander found enough energy to fill in the place were the useless energy was and he began to switch them it was a slow process that caused some distress in Arrai's body, but would heal the wound much faster than it would normally take and to allow Arrai's body to start healing it's self as well. Xander then began to wrap up the wound the rest of the way and injected some pain killer into Arrai's blood stream, but not enough to leave him unconscious even though that would probably be better, but he needed to help calm down Larien. And just as Xander was almost finished dressing Arrai's heart he saw Mai get bitten by the monstrous creature that was once Larien.
"Mai!!!" Xander called out as he was about to run to her he stopped himself and started to put Arrai on top of his shield so as to have a means of moving him and he talked to Joshua whom he did not yet know so he could help him move Arrai to were Larien was.
"Please help me move him over there!" Xander said pointing in the direction of Larien.


(OOC: oh you posted Joshua well now i have to change the end slightly and lets just say were both doing this at the same time)

NOTE: Wai, Joshua, wai are you down? Nah, you're good. Chains or whatever are totally fine! X3

The magical chains conjured by Joshua wrapped tightly around the beast Larien, constraining him from attacking. In confusion the beast tried lashing out. Finding it's legs immobile caused it to thrash around more an more violently. Release me!!! It thought. The chains however would not give. "Let me go, let me go!" Larien's inner mind screamed. Chains meant immobilization. Immobilization meant that they could do whatever they wanted to him. Meaning they would hurt him. Make it stop! Make it stop! Don't let them hurt me! The creature howled and screeched. The chains were now digging into the great fur claws and dug further into the flesh. Either the bone would snape or the chain would break. "Help me! You said you'd protect me! The small voice of Larien's inner mind screamed. He was now a child in the deepest depths of his mind and he curled even deeper away from the battle. He was scared and wanted to leave. But these darn chains made him feel heavy and constrained. "Please, I didn't mean it. I don't want to hurt anybody!" The chains semi snapped allowing the beast limited mobility. A claw was free and it reached for anything and everything.

NOTE: Raven passed out? Wuss. That's very unRaven like. Jk! I'm just teasing you man. If anything I think Arrai should have died a second ago.....but if he did! No more RP with everyone else for him! TT^TT Anywho, glad everyone's enjoyed my posts.....I feel kind of, I dunno like a god moder, so please let me know if I continue to do so. Oh! What happened to all the foot soldiers and ferrals?

Arrai frowned as he saw Raven slowly loose consciousness. Damn, an enemy who had lost all interest to fight Arrai when he had awoken from his trance of rage. He turned back to Xander who was sem odd carrying him on his shield. In a weak gesture he tried to push himself off of Xander to stand on his own. "Just a flesh wound." he smiled, before another spurt of blood erupted from his mouth. He was left choking on the metallic liquid as it flew up his mouth and out on the forest floor. "Guess I shouldn't try that again, huh Doc?" He allowed himself to fall back down onto the shield and looked at the Larien beast.

In all actuality, when he had first seen that creature he had wanted to hunt and kill it. Another obstacle for Arrai to chop down. Yet he felt something unbeast like as he had watched it those many years ago. Sure enough, the creature turned into Larien. He was oh so curious. He wanted to stab the young teen and see if he would bleed, or transform. But then the kid had looked up at him with those same wild eyes. Begging to be killed. He simply couldn't let such a creature die so easily. Only Arrai was allowed to kill the beast. That was their deal. Larien would stay with Arrai until the day his ferral genes could no longer be controlled. And then Arrai would kill him. Today was not that day, however.

"I just need to get close enough for it to hear me, ok Doc?" Arrai explained. "Wouldn't want you guys to get to close. You might lose an arm or something." He chuckled, but quickly began to cough again.

Mai shivered slightly as she watched the beast be chained.
"Tch...i cant feel my arm." She muttered, wincing slightly in pain ash she turned to the side, seeing Xander carry what looked like Arrai on his shield.
This day gets better and better. I need to help the guy im hired to kill, I cant feel my arm...yeah, ive had better.
Sighing, she ran over towards Xander and grabbed the other end of the shield, carrying it with her good hand, the other laid slightly limp at her side, unable to move more than her hand.
"Listen Dear." She spoke quickly to Arrai trying to avoid any sort of eye contact, the thought of which bothered her to no end "I heard that arm joke, this time, i forget it, since im a bit worried about your friend, but next time, i take you in, no mercy."
"Worried...eh." she looked at the beast that was Larien, still unknown to her his real name other than Lala, as she kept moving foward "Im more worried about some guy than myself...you have strange friends."

(OOC: I think they all died XD)
Not wanting to be left behind, he grabbed Arrai's ankles and put them on his shoulders. He gazed up at the monster as it swiped its claws at anything nearby. "Are you sure this is safe?!" he yelled at the guy with the goggles.

Well I myself dont have a clue to whats going on. I really don't have the right to ask.
Even in uncertainty, he continued to follow what the other person had decided.

(Sorry I didnt know what to do... im kinda... stuck right now)

"Sweetie Pie, If anything I should be worried about you." Arrai glanced down at he immobile arm that hung by her side. "Maybe you shouldn't be helping me, but getting help from the doc." HE smiled at her. "I'll be fine in a few. After all it's just a flesh wound." He smiled trying to look a bit tougher. "Then again, if it would get you to be my night nurse, then by all means, rush me to the emergency room." Arrai turned his head from Mai suddenly when he heard a vicious bark from Larien. His face became more serious as he took into note the chained creature breaking free. "Darling, I'm going to need you to give me some help." Arrai didn't like being weak, but at the moment he really couldn't stand on his own.

"When we get close enough I need to be able to catch his attention. We need someone to get him to chase after someone who will lead him to me. Lala, sensitive. And since he's tasted your blood," Arrai refereed to Mai."He's gone a little crazy. The beast awakens more with the taste of blood." He turned to Xander. "Doc, do you think once I get a hold of him you can grab his head and put some of that good mojo into it?"

Not sure if his presence was known to the man, Joshua spoke his mind. "If you'd please sir," he began,"I might have a more effective way to calming this... one you people call Larien. I could bring your soul into his mind, and speak to him that way. But it is somewhat more dangerous. If you get hurt in some way in his conscious, then your own body with receive such damage. If you die, your body with correspond in that way. If you want to take that chance, I will help you, for I am the only one, as far as I know, who can do this, and I will need to have contact with you in someway to transfer both of us into Larien's mind. I will not interfere afterwards if you wish.And also..."
He turned to the girl who had pushed him out of the way and the other healer. "If anything touches us, the bond will be disrupted and we will forever be trapped in Larien's mind. Understand?"

He waited patiently. "Well what do you think?" he inquired, anxious for a response.
